The results provide a clear guide for food enthusiasts visiting Disneyland Paris, offering a glimpse into where visitors are most and least satisfied with their dining experiences.
Downtown Restaurant: Best-Rated Overall
Topping the list of the best-rated restaurants is Downtown Restaurant, known for its blend of American-Italian dishes. With 60.5% of its 81 Tripadvisor reviews being five-star ratings, it emerges as the all-time best-rated dining spot in Disneyland Paris. Guests have praised its extensive menu, which includes favourites such as Minestrone and Tiramisu, solidifying its reputation as a must-visit for those seeking a high-quality buffet experience. This figure is 84.4% above the average five-star rating for buffet restaurants in the park, making Downtown Restaurant a standout.
The Royal Banquet, another buffet-style restaurant, follows closely behind, with 56.5% of its 23 reviews receiving top marks. Its array of self-serve options, including colourful macarons and freshly caught fish, has made it a hidden gem at the park, attracting those looking for variety. Crockett’s Tavern ranks third, with 39.1% of its reviews rated five stars, followed by Cape Cod and Agrabah Café Restaurant, which round out the top five buffet restaurants with five-star review rates of 32.4% and 31.3%, respectively.
Quick Service Gems: Cowboy Cookout Barbecue and Cable Car Bake Shop

Visitors appreciate its hearty, comforting meals, and the restaurant’s western-themed atmosphere has proven to be a hit with guests.
The Cable Car Bake Shop follows closely behind, with 29.7% of its 182 reviews receiving five-star ratings. Known for its baked goods, including Kiri pastries and Mickey Mouse-shaped sandwiches, the Bake Shop is a lesser-known gem that continues to win over visitors. The Worst-Rated Restaurants: Market House Deli and Café Hyperion
On the flip side, the study also highlights the restaurants that have left visitors the most underwhelmed. Market House Deli, which is styled as an early 20th-century New York deli, has been rated the least favourite restaurant at Disneyland Paris. With only 10.1% of its 199 reviews rated five stars, it falls 61% below the average five-star rating for all restaurants in the park. Visitors have critiqued its limited menu and quality, leaving it at the bottom of the list.
Café Hyperion, a quick service restaurant known for its burger-focused menu, fares little better. With 10.9% of its 857 reviews rated five stars, it ranks as the second-worst restaurant at Disneyland Paris. The final rating for Café Hyperion on Tripadvisor is 3.1 stars, indicating that it may not live up to the expectations of park-goers looking for a satisfying meal.
Au Chalet de la Marionnette, with a five-star review rate of 11.2%, is the third lowest-rated restaurant. New York Style Sandwiches and Casey’s Corner follow closely behind with five-star review percentages of 11.6% and 12.1%, respectively. Despite Casey’s Corner being a staple of Disney parks worldwide, offering iconic hot dogs, it has struggled to impress visitors in Disneyland Paris.
Advice for Future Visitors
Magdalena Petrusic, a travel expert from Disneyland Tickets, shared insights into the findings. “With more than 40 restaurants on offer at Disneyland Paris, choosing somewhere to eat can be overwhelming,” she said. “This study reveals the best-rated food destinations, including all table service, quick service, and buffet-style locations, helping visitors plan their meals without the need for hours of research.”
Petrusic also highlighted the surprise surrounding the worst-rated restaurants, especially the inclusion of Casey’s Corner. “It’s interesting to see that the top five worst-rated restaurants are all quick service locations, including Casey’s Corner, which is an iconic Disney dining spot. This just goes to show that visitors may want to reconsider following the crowd and opt for some of the lesser-known, higher-rated spots instead.”
The research offers valuable insights for future visitors, suggesting that a bit of planning can go a long way in ensuring a better dining experience at Disneyland Paris. Whether seeking out the top-rated Downtown Restaurant or the hidden gems like Brasserie Rosalie and Cable Car Bake Shop, the findings help make navigating the park’s culinary landscape easier for all.
